Závojový waterfall - foot of it We    can    get    there    from    Čingov tourist      centre,      from      Letanovce      or Hrabušice villages. You     have     two     possibilities     from Hrabušice   village   and   both   of   them   offer more attractivities: -    Podlesok    tourist    centre    -    Suchá Belá   gorge   -   Malá   Poľana   meadow   -   the first   turn   to   left   past   the   Biskupské   chyžky cottages     direction     to     Glac     -     at     the crossroads   named   Pod   Bykarkou   turn   to left,   follow   the   yellow   sign   down   to   Klauz valley    and    along    the    Biely    potok    river down   to   Sokolia   dolina   (the   first   tributary from left). -    From    Mýto    (crossroads    before Podlesok)     along     the     Hornád     river     to Prielom    Hornádu    kanyon,    continue    to      Kláštorná   gorge,   along   this   to   Kláštorisko tourist    centre    (the    ruins    of    monastery, restaurant)   follow   the   yellow   sign   down   to Kysel   and   along   the   river   up   to   Sokolia gorge.

The   part   of   Závojový   waterfall:   The   route   is   good   to   choose   according   to   your plan   of   return.   Longest   return   is   to   Čingov   tourist   centre,   shortest   is   to   Podlesok tourist   centre.   Most   attractive   route   is   Podlesok   -   Suchá   Belá   -   Malá   poľana   -   Klauz   - Sokolia dolina - return across the Malá Poľana meadow.

The   part   of   the   Závojový   waterfall   from   above:    Don´t   worry   and   don´t hurry   -   this   trip   is   longer,   but   you´ve   time   all   day.   Have   a   rest   and   you´ll   see that it´s worth while. If your age, condition and health permits it, go there!

Skalný waterfall This     is     one     of          the     first attractions in Sokolia dolina gorge.

Závojový waterfall        - autumn The    highest    set    of    waterfalls, ladders    and    bridges    in    the    Slovak Paradise   will   welcome   us   with   this amazing   view.   It   is   always   good   to get   an   idea   of   ​​what   one   is   going   into in   this   way.   There   are   people   who have   a   problem   with   heighs   and   it happens    that    they    return    from    the first     higher     waterfall.     It     may     be enough    to    look    from    below    and return,   but   it   is   advisable   to   know   in advance.

Závojový waterfall from above - the part of it To    visit    the    Sokolia    Valley from   anywhere,   you   need   to   plan   a day   trip   and   take   into   account   the weather   forecast.   In   any   case,   it   is advisable   to   choose   earlier   in   the morning:    on    the    one    hand,    the visitor   is   not   caught   in   the   dark   on a   hike,   but   in   all   probability   he   also avoids     summer     storms,     which more     often     come     in     the     late afternoon.   It   is   also   necessary   to take   into   account   that   if   you   come here   to   really   enjoy   this   beauty,   a slow    walk,    frequent    stops,    time space    for    nice    photos,    maybe    a debate        and        exchange        of experiences   with   other   tourists   is suitable,   but   certainly   not   breaking some speed records.

Závojový waterfall  - the part of it This   smaller   waterfall   is   inde- pendent,   but   official   is   named   as   a higher   part   of      Závojový   waterfall.   It a    little    remind    (at    least    to    me) Korytový    waterfall    in    Suchá    Belá gorge. Here   we   take   leave   of   Závo- jový   waterfall   and   above   us   is   still the last - Vyšný waterfall.

Sokolia dolina - the look to opposite hillside:  The look from the upper part of Sokolia dolina to the ridge between Sokolia dolina and  Kyseľ gorges.

Závojový waterfall in the winter Maybe    the    most    impressive look    in    the    Sokolia    dolina.    It    is always   different   -   it   worth   of   it   to return here in evry season. One   logical,   for   the   majority   of the    visitors    maybe    not    necessary, but   important   advice:   specially   (but not   only)   children   are   in   a   hurry   on the    ladders    and    they    climb    tight behind     themselves.     Under     more people   the   ladder   may   swing   and there   is   danger   of   falling   down   or   to dig   someone   behind   (under)   me   to his   head.     Adequate   spacing   increa- ses    the    safety    of    ladders    move- ment.

Závojový waterfall - lower part The   first   high   ladder   on   foot   of Závojový   waterfall.   It   is   furter   from the   stonewall   so   the   depth   under legs   may   evoke   the   fear   at   some people.   We   can   see   little   waterfall behind   this   ladder,   but   it   runs   only from the cleft in the rocks.

The Vyšný (Upper) waterfall   We   can   see   here   only   its border   in   the   background,   the next   picture   is   better.      It   is   the last attraction of this gorge.

Vyšný waterfall   This   is   the   end   of   adrenalin,   the rest   is   walk   along   the   forest   path   on the mountain plateau. On   the   top   we   continue   to   the right   -   direction   to   Biskupské   chyžky and Malá poľana.
